Payment Methods

On altamag.ro you can pay in three ways, all with no extra costs on top of the displayed price:

1. Cash on delivery

You pay when the parcel arrives, in cash or by card (depending on the courier's equipment). The exact amount is shown at checkout and on the AWB — no additional cash-on-delivery fees are charged.

2. Bank transfer / payment order

After placing your order you receive the payment details by e-mail (the ALTANET S.R.L. bank account and the order reference). The order is reserved for 3 working days pending payment; shipping happens once the payment is confirmed. Also recommended for companies — a proforma invoice is issued on request.

3. Card online — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay

Online payment is processed securely through Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world. Card data is entered exclusively in the processor's secure form and encrypted to the PCI DSS standard — altamag.ro does not store and has no access to your full card number. Transactions may be subject to 3-D Secure authentication (confirmation in your bank's app), in line with European payment regulations (PSD2).

If your card's issuing bank uses a currency other than the Romanian leu, your bank may apply currency-conversion fees — these do not depend on altamag.ro.

Invoicing

We issue a fiscal invoice for every order, sent electronically to the e-mail address associated with the order and available in your account under "My orders". For companies, fill in the company billing details at checkout.

Refunds

In case of a return or the cancellation of a paid order, the amounts are refunded within at most 14 calendar days, using the same payment method used for the order (for cash-on-delivery payments — by bank transfer, to the account you provide), with no fees withheld by us.

Payment security

The site uses HTTPS/TLS encryption on all pages. We will never ask for your full card details by e-mail or phone — if you receive such requests in Altamag's name, do not respond and report them to us at [email protected].
