Cookie policy
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, how altamag.ro (a website operated by ALTANET S.R.L.) uses them, and how you can manage your preferences, in accordance with Law 506/2004 regarding personal data processing and privacy protection in the electronic communications sector, and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. What are cookies used for?

The consent banner groups cookies into three categories matching the sections below: “Functionale” (a — always on, cannot be disabled), “Statistici” (b) and “Marketing” (c). The last two are activated only if you tick them.

If you do not tick the “Marketing” category in the consent banner, these cookies are not placed. If you later withdraw your consent from “Cookie settings”, they are deleted from your browser.

Cookies themselves do not request personal information and, in most cases, do not directly identify internet users. However, data collected through cookies (e.g., IP address, online identifiers) may constitute personal data under the GDPR; we process them in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage your preferences
Consent banner: upon your first visit, you can accept all cookies, decline optional cookies, or choose by category. You can modify your choices at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of the website.

6. Why are cookies important for the internet?
Cookies are a central element of efficient internet operation: they allow a browsing experience tailored to each user's preferences — from keeping items in the cart between visits to remembering language or display preferences. Refusing cookies does not mean you will no longer see online advertising, but only that it will no longer be tailored to your interests.
7. Security and recommendations
